The Barking of Dogs Will Never Bring Down a Soaring Falcon!

From Atop the Platform Yasser Al-Fadni

Whenever signs of victory appear on the horizon, and whenever the artillery of our armed forces crushes the dens of traitors and mercenaries, the discordant voices emerge—panting after the mirage of distortion, gnawing at the flesh of the nation under the guise of a false freedom. It is the habit of insects to screech in agony when the light of truth exposes them. They attack a military whose courage has become legendary, whose heroism has written history, and which has proven, time and again, that it is the sentinel at the nation’s gate—unflinching and unwavering.

Those crawling out from their holes, chewing on lies and spewing venom, are the same ones who cheered as the militias stormed the national museum—not out of ignorance, but with full knowledge and intent. They aimed to erase our collective memory, to steal the proof that Sudan is a nation with deep, ancient roots. They wanted to rob us of our statues as they’ve robbed consciences, to plunder our history just as they’ve looted the present. These are nothing but tools in the hands of a sponsor who cares not for the land, only for erasing its identity and turning it into a playground for his evil.

The attacks on the leadership of the armed forces are nothing new—but this time, the malice is bare and the purpose is obvious. It is that same leadership which thwarted the largest scheme ever backed by the powers of evil to fragment this country. It is that same leadership which stood firm when others stumbled, remained united when allies betrayed, and fought while politicians sold their honor in the slave market of global agendas. They fight in silence, liberate without boasting, and remain patient even when those who should stand by them fall away.

Our army does not heed the braying of the media or the screaming of fools—for the falcon does not glance at barking dogs, and those who are used to soaring high care nothing for the stones thrown from below. The armed forces march forward, reclaiming land inch by inch, restoring dignity to the homeland, and renewing the people’s faith that there are still men who do not bargain over the soil, who will never trade sovereignty.

From my platform, I look… and I see… that truth, no matter how deeply buried under ash, will one day rise again. The day will come when history etches the names of those who defended the nation’s achievements—its memory, its land, and all that remains of its sovereign meaning. Glory to the rifle that never breaks, glory to the patriotic uniform that cannot be bought, and glory to this country, which is bitten daily, yet never dies—simply because it is guarded by falcons that never fall, no matter how fierce the barking of the dogs becomes.
